Christian Aid has launched the campaign Enough food for everyone IF …

Hunger is the world’s most shocking problem but IF we act togther we can provide enough food for everyone.

Tom Brake MP has organised a public meeting for supporters of the IF campaign and invited speakers from Christian Aid and Save the Children.

The meeting will be at Trinity Centre, Malden Road, Wallington on Saturday 27 April at 1pm.

Sutton’s Fairtrade Marathon

Thank you to all individuals who registered with Fairtrade in Sutton at one of our stalls over the last year.

For trying  fairtrade product for the first time earned 10 steps, or for continuing to use fairtrade products earned 30 steps a month.

Taking a Step to Fairtrade took place between Fairtrade Fortnight 2012 to 2013.

Well done Sutton

Well done Sutton!

We have collectively completed the Sutton Fairtade Marathon.

During the last year, the residents of Sutton and the business community have taken the 50,000 steps necessary to walk across the borough.  The steps were awarded to individuals, churches and businesses on the basis of their fairtrade activity.
