Sutton successful in renewing FAIRTRADE BOROUGH STATUS

Great news! The Fairtrade Foundation has just renewed Sutton’s status as a Fairtrade Borough. This is recognition that Sutton continues to be a Borough which makes a public commitment to supporting and using products with the Fairtrade Mark. Sutton Fairtrade Community Group and the Council, along with Sutton retailers, businesses, community organisations, faith groups and schools continue to promote Fairtrade and welcome anyone who would like to join us.

Sutton was first designated a Fairtrade Borough in 2007 and has been successful in renewing this ever since.

Thanks to all those individuals and organisations who have made this renewal possible.

25th Anniversary of Fairtrade Mark

Quiz at Bandon Hill Methodist Church

To join in the celebrations for the Fairtrade Mark’s 25th anniversary, a very enjoyable Quiz & Supper Night was held at Bandon Hill Methodist Church recently. 

Here’s to the next 25 successful years of Fairtrade.
